Trial listed in the Mazard book, reference: Maz-62. Several renowned engravers such as Dupré, Duvivier, Droz, Andrieu, Gatteau and Vasselon presented their busts at the famous 1791 competition. Dupré won the competition. This type was used for the “constitutional” ecus.
