Provenance : The Treasure of Rue Mouffetard Hoard

This coin, originating from The Treasure of Rue Mouffetard Hoard, was donated by a descendant of Louis Nivelle to a charitable organization.

It comes with a handwritten certificate of origin attesting to this provenance.

The document is co-signed by Émile Bourgey, national numismatic expert, and Abbé Cousseran, Secretary General of the Amitiés Ferdinand Boé Association (AFB), an organization committed to helping children in need.

This certificate reflects a philanthropic approach, as the coin was made available in a charitable context, in line with the founding principles of the association.

A truly rare historical document, this certificate stands apart from the more standard attestations typically encountered.
