Extremely rare and exceptional counterfeit 100 nouveaux francs Bonaparte note produced by the famous counterfeiter Czeslaw Bojarski.

Prefix K.119, serial number 82407. Dated 2-2-1961. “Contrefaçon” (“Counterfeit”) stamp.

This counterfeit Bojarski banknote circulated in commerce, making it even rarer and historically more significant, as it successfully deceived the public. A very fine collector’s example.

This banknote has been authenticated and referenced, and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity issued by our numismatic firm.

This is only the second example we have offered for sale. The previous specimen from our collection was sold for €6,500.

Undoubtedly one of the greatest banknote counterfeiters of all time, Czeslaw Bojarski was nicknamed “the Cézanne of counterfeit money.” A research engineer born in Poland, he arrived in France in 1940, where he began his counterfeiting activities. Today, Bojarski’s counterfeit banknotes generate strong enthusiasm among collectors. Read the article

    Very rare provenance: this banknote comes directly from Inspector André Loste, who worked in the team of Émile Benhamou, the commissioner in charge of the Bojarski investigation.
